This summer the beautiful Emu Plains Reserve in Balnarring will be transformed once again into an open air cinema unlike anything seen on the Mornington Peninsula before.

Here, movie goers can enjoy watching some new release and classic films in the undeniable presence of the majestic & historic stringybark gums.

It truly is an event the whole family will adore!  Come early to experience some amazing live, local entertainment, the best street food melbourne has to offer & a bar stocked with Peninsula favourites featuring Quealy Winemakers and Red Hill Brewery.

Quealy Winemakers' Cellar Door takes you right into the heart of the winery, tasting amidst the barrels and terracotta amphora.

Kathleen Quealy and Kevin McCarthy first arrived on the Mornington Peninsula in 1988 and have spent the subsequent years cultivating a reputation for single vineyard expressions of regional heroes Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, sourced from some of the oldest and finest sites.

Their experience of Italian winemaking tradition has inspired Secco Splendido, the founding Pobblebonk field blend, Pinot Grigio and little-grown Friulano variety.

Kathleen was awarded Legend of the Vine 2016, becoming the first female victor, for the unique role she has played in shaping this young region.

The Winery Cellar Door on Bittern-Dromana road is open daily 9 to 5.

Quealy wines are also available for tasting at our satellite Cellar Door at the Long Table, Red Hill.

Share in their passion for beer in the relaxed, rustic bush setting amidst the hop vines.

Stringybark Cinema is a new venture between awarded filmmaker Gus Berger of Gusto Films and Blow Up Cinema and local founder of the Emu Plains Market, Vanessa Johnson.  The two have come together to create a dynamic and vibrant event that is unique to the shores of the Mornington Peninsula.

A beautifully styled event, the Stringybark Cinema will soon become a much loved Peninsula destination for families throughout summer.
